For the physical and mental wellbeing of our customers and staff alike, Pitchfork Market + Kitchen adheres to the following series of COVID safety protocols. We are committed to providing everyone within our community with an environment where they can feel safe and comfortable while shopping for their groceries and/or meals for themselves, their family, or their friends. We are equally committed to our own frontline workers and will support their safety in every way possible.
Specifically, we’ve employed what have come to be understood as standard precautions, including:
REDUCED CUSTOMER OCCUPANCY: We have reduced the maximum number of customers that can be in our store at any one time; signage has been posted throughout the store--indicating.
SOCIAL DISTANCING: We have incorporated visual social distancing markers. This also includes having staff maintaining 2 meter distance from other workers wherever possible.
MANDATORY WEARING OF MASKS:Everyone entering the store--including staff--must wear a mask. This will be enforced..
HAND SANITIZATION: We have set-up hand sanitizer stations throughout our store:
At entryway and exit
At washrooms
At points of sale
PHYSICAL BARRIERS BETWEEN CUSTOMERS & STAFF: We have incorporated plexiglass partitions at all points of sale: cashiers, customer service, kitchen service counter, and between self checkouts.
SANITIZED TOUCHPOINTS: Our cleaning regimen has been increased to include:
Daily detail cleaning by a professional cleaning company – with an emphasis on sanitization
Regular interval touch surface wipe downs of high traffic surfaces.
Floor scrubber on site to reduce dust.
Ionizing sanitizer mister, which ensures sanitizer clings to all surfaces, even hard to reach or see ones.
STAFF SCREENING: All our staff will be screened daily with CDC/Health Canada suggested pre-shift questions to ensure compliance to protocols.
