passion for pies and opened Scratch Provisions and combined his passion for crafting food flavours and baking.
Trent started his culinary journey at the Stratford Chef’s School in 2002 and worked in the finest restaurants, graduated with class distinction and continued working as a chef instructor for the nationally celebrated school. When he returned home to Saskatoon, Trent opened an organic artisan bakery which he operated for over 10 years before selling it in 2018 and then headed to New Zealand, where he fell in love with New Zealand-style meat pies. While touring the country, Trent found every kiwi eating a pie. Each scratch pie is made by hand, right here in Saskatoon and all the pie fillings are sourced (as much as possible) from ingredients in and around the city.
