Original Family Farm is among the small number of Saskatchewan abattoirs enrolled in the Domestic Meat Inspection Program, which means you can trust that all animals are treated humanely and the meat provided is safe. Originally a crop-based farm, Original Family Farm has raised and sold high-quality meats for 25 years.

Located near Saskatoon and bisons are 100% grass-fed and grass-finished. Pigs and chickens receive vegetarian diets that are grown and milled on the farm and raised without antibiotics. Beef cows are raised also on natural forage and transitioned to wholesome grains they love to eat.

At Original Family Farm, none of the animals receive any medications in their water, feed or at the hatchery for their entire lives. Working with a nutritionist and veterinarian ensure all animals are of optimum health.
